It was awesome hanging out with my extended family. You learn a lot about your relatives when you spend an entire week with them. There were plenty of laughs, plenty of food, and plenty of annoyances, but those are inevitable. I gotta say, it feels great to finally be home, but I do miss the fam.
If you have a chance to spend a week with your cousins, aunts, uncles, siblings, parents, and grandparents, I totally recommend taking up that opportunity.
Also, during the time we spent at the beach, I've learned how much I love it. I love the sand (I was basically a toddler playing in it all day), and the sun, and the ocean, oh, and all the sand dollars we caught (not sure if caught is the right verb here...). I think maybe I'll live in a seaside town one day.
