Recently, all I've been wanting to do is read, read, read. It's probably because I have more free time now that school is coming to a close. I finished a few books, so as usual, imma tell you bout 'em.
This book here is by Susannah Cahalan and may I just say, this woman has been through a lot. Basically, the book tells of her experience with a rare autoimmune disease and it's quite haunting. She tells of the technical things behind it and the emotional turmoil that results because of it.
The brain has always fascinated me and being able to hear of it's complexities from Cahalan is so interesting. This book is such a cool read and the fact that it is a true story makes it that much more unique and captivating.
There are plenty more book reviews and recommendations to come. Also, if you have any recommendations for me, I would love to hear them!
Read on my fellow bookworms.
xx. Sarah.
