Hello my fellow bloggin' pals. What have you been up to recently? Right now, I'm studying for finals (well, trying to study). I feel like it's inevitable for bloggers not to write about their struggles with finals. So here I am, adding, once again, another post to the blogging community about how I am incapable of staying focused and caring enough to dive deep into the forgotten texts of high school education.
Anyways, this summer is gonna be a full one. In about a week I'll be heading' to the beach with my family. I'm talking cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, siblings, parents; basically the whole shabang. I'm really excited about it, but you all know how that goes. Someone is destined to get on your nerves at some point (and probably vice versa).
Then, near the end of June, I'm going to Canada for a mission trip. Yes, Canada. Now, it may not seem like a huge deal, but it's definitely a step out of my comfort zone. It's my first mission trip and they speak French up there. I mean, I've taken two years of French, but really, I have the vocabulary of a four year old, maybe younger. But, I figure, the Lord has put me here (way out of my comfort zone, I might add) for a reason so might as well be excited for it.
Once I get back from Canada, soccer season starts. I'm pretty excited about it too. Maybe not conditioning and running and all that jazz, but I'm looking forward to being surrounded by my awesome teammates. I've missed them.
So there you go, that is my summer. Exciting, ain't it (gotta use ain't for emphasis, right...)?! I've got it all planned out, but you never know, plans may change. I got so much to do and I'm so excited to see what happens!
What are you doing this summer? Or if you are on the other side of the globe (which would be amaze beans), what are you up to these next few months?
It's been so nice to blog again.
xx. Sarah.
