YO, IM BACK

taken via iPhone
I'm back! I've been back in the states for a few days now and I've been thinking about if/how I should talk about my trip. I'll start by saying that it was hard work. I'd never been on a mission trip before so I thought it would be pretty relaxed (rookie mistake. ha.). Although I did enjoy it and have fun on it and met amazing, beautiful people, I was already exhausted by the third day (as I'm sure everyone was). Yes, serving the Lord is not always fun, but my, is it worth it. The kids I met there were incredible and it took only minutes to befriend and love them. I am sure that I will be going back to Maniwaki next year and I am keeping the Mani people in my heart and in my prayers.

If you're reading this and you were one of the kids I talked to (yeah, you know who you are) I want to let you know that I love you and the Lord is right there beside you during every bad day and every good day. Because of Christ, you have the chance to be free from sin and the weight of this crooked world. He wants the best for you, as do I. I can't wait to see you again next year.

Much love, Sarah
