My family and I, as a lot of families tend to end up doing even though the children despise the idea, decided to visit a historical site, not only for the history, but also for the pictures. The place we visited was Boone Hall. It was absolutely beautiful and the gardens were to die for, the history however, not so much. This plantation was founded in 1681 and so you can imagine, sad things took place there. Although the history isn't too bright, the plantation itself definitely is. Enjoy!
